Haye rose to prominence in 2009 when he defeated the then two-time WBA champion Nikolay Valuev in Nuremberg, Germany. Haye is the first and currently only boxer in the history of the sport to be 7 stone or more lighter than an opponent in a World title fight and still come out victorious.

Haye returned to action in July 2012 and appeared as good as ever in his destruction of Dereck Chisora at Upton Park. Buoyed by a vociferous crowd of 35,000 people, he dropped his opponent twice in the fifth round, and finished proceedings with one of the most eye-catching knockouts of the year.

The clash provided a stark reminder of exactly why ‘The Hayemaker’ remains the most explosive and thrilling heavyweight on the planet.

He is world renowned for spotting young talent such as David Haye.

He also trained triple European 400m champion Du’aine Ladejo and played a vital role in preparing George The Saint Groves for one of British boxing’s biggest rivalries against James Degale in 2011.

His knowledge base is vast including writing programs for some of the UK’s leading training providers.
